bisphenol A is mainly used in plastic production. Plastics containing bisphenol A have been used in products for more than 50 years. It is a key monomer in the production of polycarbonate plastic and epoxy resin. Polycarbonate plastic is widely used in all kinds of daily necessities, including baby bottles and water bottles. Epoxy resin containing bisphenol A is used on the inner wall surface of almost all food and beverage cans

bisphenol A has low acute toxicity, but can cause endocrine disorders. Low dose bisphenol A mimics the human body's own hormones, which may cause negative health effects. Long-term low-dose intake of bisphenol A can lead to chronic poisoning
